Since the foundation in 1988, ROTEC has been a reliable partner for the analysis, monitoring and design of drive systems for mobility and power generation. Many challenges have shaped the 30-year company history.
Karl-Rainer Feuring has the brilliant idea! He founds ROTEC in 1988 with the aim of advancing the optimization and development progress of combustion engines with specialised measuring systems for torsional vibration analysis. The constant technical development of the automotive industry also increasingly demands innovations in terms of driving comfort.
In 2008, Amir Roughani takes over ROTEC into the VISPIRON Group. The entrepreneur and visionary has made future mobility, future energy and digital transformation his major tasks. With ROTEC, he expands his portfolio by adding a reliable partner in the field of software and hardware in measurement technology to drive forward the optimization of consumption and durability of engines, transmissions and machines. The four divisions of the VISPIRON Group form a strategically, strongly diversified group of companies and can support each other optimally depending on the market situation – and with ROTEC they can pursue their goal: to provide products and services for efficient, safe and reliable technologies on the customer side.
In 2017, Christopher Lehne joins the management team. He has many years of experience in mechanical engineering, including working for a well-known German supplier to the automotive and engineering industries. Goal- and solution-oriented thinking and acting are the core competences of Lehne. Together with the ROTEC team he develops innovative technical solutions and engineering services, which have been presented by the ROTEC ENGINEERING team since 2018. The aim is always to contribute to the optimization of drive systems and to open up new sectors such as energy, heavy motors and mechanical engineering. Reliable sales partners and long-standing customers are on hand to provide inspiration for the technical development process.
Together, the company’s management must face one challenge above all else: the adaptation and optimization of measurement technology and engineering services to the constant dynamic changes in political, economic and, above all, ecological conditions. And with success! Roughani’s visions and Lehne’s solution-oriented expertise complement each other perfectly in order to drive innovation specifically for new industries.
